Monster Face sculpting workshop

Service Description

A day of monster face sculpting at AFK Gaming in Newton Abbot. The Monster face sculpting workshop is a one day workshop and is on Sunday 9th of February 11am to 4pm with a lunch break at 1pm This one is all about creating a monster or a character face, you will be sculpting a half head onto a wood board 145mm X 145mm which is the perfect size for creating a sculpture in this time frame. It is mainly geared towards adults but 14 years plus are welcome to attend, it is run at AFK gaming Ltd in Newton Abbot, It costs £50 for the session. Its an open plan wargaming shop so there maybe be other customers around but the tables are at the back of the shop so there is minimal disturbance. Both total beginners and people with experience are welcome. We will be using an oil-based clay called Plasteline which is a professional grade sculpting clay that doesn’t dry out like regular water based clay but also never fully hardens so remains workable for many years. Its great for making monsters and characters as its soft enough to manipulate easily but holds its shape and fine details very well and is used in the film industry. Clay and tools are provided but if you have your own then feel free to bring them.
